A capsule may contain plain powder, a concentrated extract or several ingredients. The bleeding report involving aspirin used ginger extract along with clopidogrel and other supplements, so it cannot determine the risk from powder alone. Must everyone stop ginger powder?

The current European ginger monograph lists no known medicine interactions and does not instruct every aspirin user to avoid its specified preparations.
