The relevant trial was not clearly positive

Thirty people with metabolic syndrome took CoQ10 or placebo while their usual blood-pressure medicines stayed unchanged. CoQ10 did not significantly reduce average 24-hour systolic or diastolic pressure. Some secondary measurements improved, but the trial did not establish a harmful indapamide interaction.

Why the exact combination remains uncertain

People, products and background medicines differ. The inspected abstract does not identify an indapamide subgroup, and one small trial cannot rule out individual reactions. A proposed blood-pressure effect is not enough to predict that the combination will cause hypotension.
